Emails

I feel that the similarities created between and e-mail and standard mail play major roles in the execution of e-mail. When developing the whole idea it was very smart to make the "mailbox" just like you would have at home. I remember when i first logged on to AOL and that guy said, "you've got mail." It was the start of the whole internet experience for me. When we were taking notes we had spam as a difference. I actually kind of believe it's similar. I don't know about you but when i go home and check my mail i have the letters that i look at immediately and then put the rest of the stuff in the recycle bin.
The strengths of receiving actual mail is recieving photos and receiving documents when need signatures and you can send packages other then text. The strengths of email are that letters can be delivered and recieved in a matter of seconds.

  1. You're so right, about looking at e-mail messages that are important and either putting the rest in the junk mail or recycle bin, and I do remember the AOL message, and the voice saying “you’ve got mail", what ever happened to that? It's so much easier that regular mail.
